A Woman Who Inspires Me Writing Competition

This competition is for students in grades 6-8 in 7th Congressional District. Students are asked to submit an essay or poem recognizing a woman (or women) they admire most and why. It can be any woman who inspires participants, whether they are a historical figure, government official, or member of their family.

Essay requirements:

  • The essay can be about any woman from a historical figure, a government official, your family member or teacher; anyone who inspires you and has made a difference in your life.
  • You must live in 7th District of Arizona and be in grades 6-8.
  • Turn in a completed entry form which can be found HERE.

All submissions should be emailed to cassandra.becerra@mail.house.gov by March 26th, 2024.
