Government Shutdown Resources

In December 2019, President Trump shut down the government over funding issues for his border wall. As a result he thrust the lives of 800,000 federal workers and their families into economic turmoil. During this latest shutdown, more than 400,000 federal workers were furloughed and another 400,000 have worked without pay. On Friday January 11, these hardworking federal employees began missing paychecks and now have to make difficult decisions about paying their bills and providing for their families.

Rep. Grijalva's Office remains committed to helping the federal workers of Arizona's Third Congressional District during this time of uncertainty. Please use the links below to access frequently asked questions, a resource package for government employees, and a form where you can share your shutdown story with the office.
