Grijalva Will Read to Students at Two Tucson Elementary Schools on Thursday Morning to Highlight Support for Public Education

Tucson, Ariz.– Rep. Raúl M. Grijalva will read to students at two Tucson schools on Thursday, April 28, to highlight his support for public education. Grijalva will read to students at C. E. Rose Elementary and Sam Hughes Elementary.

“Education is facing major cuts in the House Republican budget, and showing support for public schools is one of the best ways we can make sure those cuts don’t become a reality,” Grijalva said. “On top of that, this is a fun way to spend a morning. I enjoy school visits and have always made our community’s schools a priority.”
