Tucson, Ariz.– Rep. Raúl M. Grijalva today released the following statement about this year’s applications to military service branch academies:

“Each year, I have the privilege of nominating five individuals to each of our nation’s Military Academies. In order to represent Southern Arizona fairly, I rely on a diverse group of individuals to promote applications and encourage interested students to learn more about this prestigious opportunity.

Anyone wishing to apply can find the necessary information on my Web site at http://grijalva.house.gov/index.cfm?sectionid=17&sectiontree=6,17. The application and the requested information must be submitted to our district office no later than Oct. 31, 2010.
