WASHINGTON – Representative Raúl M. Grijalva (AZ-07) released the following statement on today’s Supreme Court (SCOTUS) decision in 303 Creative LLC v. Elenis:

“The far-right Supreme Court has again overwhelmingly failed to apply the equal application of the law. Today, on the final day of Pride Month, the Court opened Pandora’s box for legal discrimination against protected classes of people in accessing services. It sets a devastating precedent that has nothing to do with freedom of speech. This singular decision threatens decades of progress, and I will do everything I can to fight against it. Congress must move to pass the Equality Act to ensure full protections for LGBTQI+ people under the law.”
