Awarded Grants and Cooperative Agreements

Recipient: Primavera Foundation
Granting Agency: Department of Veterans Affairs
Amount: $877,416
Purpose: To provide and improve veterans outreach, case management, assistance in obtaining VA benefits, and assistance in obtaining and coordinating other public benefits.
Facts: The grant is part of nearly $60 million in grants to homeless providers in 40 states and the District of Columbia as part of the new Supportive Services for Veteran Families Program.

Recipients: Tucson Children’s Museum
Granting Agency: Institute of Museum and Library Services
Amount: $135,950
Purpose: Improve education quality in Southern Arizona, including making the museum more available to low income schools and providing training for parents and teachers on child development.
Facts: This is one of 160 projects selected from 481 applicants to this year’s Museums for America grant program.
