Grijalva Office Hosting Immigration Reform Informational Event on Pascua Yaqui Nation This Tuesday, June 11, With Nuns on the Bus

Tucson, Ariz. – The Tucson district office of Rep. Raúl M. Grijalva is hosting an informational event this Tuesday, June 11, to explain the effects of immigration reform on Native American communities and the country as a whole. The event will take place in conjunction with Nuns on the Bus, a group of Catholic Sisters traveling across the country in support of immigrants and legal reform.

The event is free and open to the public. Pascua Yaqui Chairman Peter Yucupicio and Tohono O’odham Chairman Ned Norris will be among the speakers.

Where: Pascua Yaqui Nation Albert D. Garcia Justice Center, 7777 S. Camino Huivisim (Building C)

Directions from Tucson: Go west on Valencia Rd. to Yaqui Nation, turn south on Camino de Oeste, turn west onto West Calle Torim, then take an immediate left onto Camino Huivisim
