Tucson, Ariz. – Rep. Raúl M. Grijalva is hosting an event at 4:30 p.m. tomorrow for Southern Arizona participants in the annual Congressional Art Competition at the Tucson district office at 738 N. 5th Ave.
The event will give participants the chance to interact with Rep. Grijalva and see their entries displayed around the office. He will discuss the importance of funding for art programs in public schools and announce the winner of this year’s competition.
Representatives from Southwest Airlines will present the winner of the competition with two complimentary tickets to Washington, D.C., to see the winning artwork displayed in the Cannon House Office Building, where it will hang for the next year.
