Grijalva Will Hold Grants Workshops in San Luis March 13, Avondale March 15 – Will Include Q & A With Federal Agency Experts

Washington, D.C.– Rep. Raúl M. Grijalva will host grants workshops for businesses, education leaders, non-profits and others interested in pursuing federal grant opportunities in San Luis on March 13 and in Avondale on March 15. Attendance is free and open to the public. Details for both events are available below.

 

Rep. Grijalva will deliver opening remarks and introductions at each event, and district office staff will be available to answer questions. Anyone interested in attending should RSVP with Rep. Grijalva’s Tucson district office at the contact provided below.

San Luis Workshop

When: March 13th, 1:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Where: Cesar Chavez Cultural Center, 1015 N. Main Street

Speakers: Arizona Alliance of Nonprofits, Arizona Humanities Council, U.S. Department of Education, Environmental Protection Agency, Small Business Administration, Department of Housing and Urban Development, Department of Health and Human Services

Format: Each group or agency will give a brief presentation about the grants application process and available grant opportunities. After opening presentations, each speaker will be available to answer questions about specific available funds

Avondale Grants Workshop

When: March 15, 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Where: Resource Center Coordinator Social Service Division, 328 W. Western Avenue
