Grijalva Will Visit Kofa High School on Wednesday to Discuss Colorado River Issues With Students, Meet With Nuestro Rio Participants

Yuma, Ariz. – Rep. Raúl M. Grijalva will visit Kofa High School in Yuma on Wednesday to meet with students, including two Nuestro Rio program participants, to discuss the importance and political future of the Colorado River. Nuestro Rio is an organization representing more than 21,000 Latinos across the Southwest who promote sustainable use of Colorado River resources.

Students will show Rep. Grijalva a student-produced video on the river and its role in Yuma’s future. The event, at 3100 S Avenue A, starts at 12:15 p.m. and is open to the press.
