Rep. Grijalva Speaks in Support of Latino Museum Bill from House Floor
WASHINGTON—Today, Rep. Raúl M. Grijalva spoke on the floor of the House of Representatives in support of H.R. 2420, the National Museum of the American Latino Act. The bill passed the House of Representatives today and will establish a Smithsonian National Museum of the American Latino on the National Mall dedicated to honoring the contributions of American Latinos throughout U.S. history. Rep. Grijalva has been a long-time advocate of establishing a Latino Museum and held a hearing on the legislation in the Natural Resources Committee in October 2019.
