Rep. Grijalva Announces the Hiring of New Wounded Warrior Fellow in Arizona District Office

WASHINGTON— Today, Rep. Grijalva announced the hiring of Alexander Lofgren who will join Rep. Grijalva’s district staff as part of the Wounded Warrior Fellowship program. Lofgren served four years in in the US Army as a Combat Engineer and deployed to Afghanistan in 2011. After leaving the military, he obtained a bachelor’s degree in political science from Arizona State University. During his fellowship, Lofgren will work with Southern Arizona veterans on issues concerning VA healthcare, benefits, and more.

“My office has served as an indispensable resource for thousands of veterans across Arizona’s Third Congressional District,” said Rep. Raúl M. Grijalva. “Alex’s firsthand experience with the military and veterans affairs make him uniquely positioned to help Arizona’s veteran constituents and I look forward to utilizing his expertise to build upon our successes in helping our veterans.”
