Constituents are invited to submit cards and letters thanking local veterans for their service this Valentine’s Day
TUCSON, Ariz. – Representative Raúl M. Grijalva (AZ-07) announced the opening for submissions for the 7th Congressional District of Arizona’s annual Valentines for Veterans, a program hosted by Rep. Grijalva’s office that collects and distributes Valentine’s Day cards to local veterans.
Constituents of all ages are encouraged to participate by dropping off or mailing cards to Congressman Grijalva’s Tucson office. The deadline for submissions is Friday, February 10.
“This Valentine’s Day, I ask Southern Arizonans to join me in honoring our veterans with a small token of appreciation,” said Rep. Grijalva. “A heartfelt card or handwritten note is a small but great way to give back to those who gave so much for our country. I hope the constituents of the 7th District of Arizona will answer the call for cards just like our veterans answered the call to serve our country for us.”
Constituents with questions should contact Cassandra Becerra at Cassandra.Becerra@mail.house.gov. Congressman Grijalva’s Tucson office location is below.
