WASHINGTON – Rep. Raúl M. Grijalva (AZ-03) today issued a statement after the Senate parliamentarian ruled against including a pathway to citizenship in the upcoming budget reconciliation package.

“The Senate Parliamentarian’s ruling is disappointing, but this is not the end of our fight.

Democratic leadership is exploring every proposal to move forward and provide a pathway to citizenship for the millions of undocumented immigrants, Dreamers, TPS holders, farm workers and essential workers. We must pursue every avenue to succeed in keeping our promise.”
