Thursday, July 7 Progressive Caucus Press Conference On Debt Ceiling Position

Washington, D.C. – Leaders of the Congressional Progressive Caucus (CPC) will hold a press conference Thursday, July 11, to discuss what must be included as part of a responsible agreement on the debt ceiling. They will communicate a simple message: any cuts to Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid should be taken off the table and revenue increases must be a meaningful part of any agreement.

CPC members will give brief remarks on their position before taking questions.
