Art Competition

Each spring, a nation-wide high school arts competition is sponsored by the Members of the U.S. House of Representatives. The Artistic Discovery Contest is an opportunity to recognize and encourage artistic talent across the nation, as well as here in our Congressional District.
The Artistic Discovery Contest is open to all high school, middle school, and elementary students  in our District. The winning artwork from our district's high school competition will be displayed for one year in the U.S. Capitol. The exhibit in Washington will include the winning artwork from all participating districts across the country. The winning piece is also featured on the Congressional Art Competition page on House.gov.
Please note: There here will be separate prizes and recognition for elementary and middle school students, who will be celebrated within our district in age-appropriate categories designed to honor their creativity and artistic achievements.
