TUCSON – Congressman Raúl M. Grijalva (D-AZ) announced the winner of the 2017 Congressional Art Competition for Arizona's 3rd Congressional District at an art reception with participants, families, and art teachers on May 11th. Yulissa Aldana from Kofa High School in Yuma was selected as the winner. Her "American Puzzle" piece was created using acrylic, color pencil, and water colors. Yulissa has earned a free trip to Washington, D.C. to see her art piece hung in the U.S. Capitol building, where it will remain on display for one year.
