Yuma, Ariz. – Rep. Raúl M. Grijalva on Wednesday will present a Congressional Record entry congratulating the Gadsden Elementary School District marching band, known as “The Pride of San Luis,” on its many recent first-place honors and prestigious invitations. The group  has won first place awards in Lake Havasu, the Parada Del Sol Parade in Scottsdale, the APS Phoenix Light Parade, the Somerton Founder’s Day Parade and the Dorothy Young Electric Light Parade, and most recently was invited to the London Days Bridge Parade.

Rep. Grijalva will deliver remarks and the band will play a thank-you tribute. The event is open to media.
