WASHINGTON – Today, Rep. Raúl M. Grijalva (D-Ariz.) announced the launch of a new portal where entities in his district who have been awarded a federal grant, contract, or loan that was impacted by the Trump Administration’s funding freeze can report their issue.
“The Trump Administration’s reckless and illegal pause on federal funding has already wreaked havoc across the nation, grinding key infrastructure projects to a halt, jeopardizing vital programs and putting dozens of Americans out of work. Multiple federal judges have ordered the funds to be released —however, many entities are still unable to access their Congressionally-appropriated federal funds to perform the duties and services for which the funding was designated by law,” said Rep. Grijalva. “Impacted entities in my district may report any ongoing freezes immediately — so we can follow up with the agencies and ensure federal funds are being distributed appropriately, as required by law.”
